With Levi in the hospital, I found it hard to sleep. Levi was my protector and he wasn’t here to protect me. The only thing keeping me sane was the policemen on patrol outside. The night skies glittered with stars and I couldn’t sleep. Tyrek was somewhere plotting, and Levi was at the hospital with bruised ribs and a black eye. Tyrek didn’t do as much damage as I initially thought from looking at Levi. He’s strong. He’ll be back in your arms soon.
Nothing seemed to calm me down. My blood pressure was probably through the roof. Every time I walked around the house, I scared my damn self to death whenever I saw my own shadow. The thought of having to live under the watchful eye of the police because my crazy ass ex decided that I was his possession, was enough to make anybody be full of regret.
I got off the couch, grabbed my coat and keys, then made my way to the hospital. I was nervous as hell, but I needed to get out of the house. I needed to see Levi.
