“Fuck!” The news had just announced that Duke made it. That bitch nigga actually made it through. 

“Don’t be like that now. I tried to tell you that the nigga was on some Superman type shit. You didn’t wanna listen.”

Just like any black woman, Jazmine had to come with the ‘I told you so’ speech. She was irking the fuck outta me and she did absolutely nothing to better me. All she did was bring me down and constantly remind me that I wasn’t shit. Which I wasn’t but I didn’t need the constant reminder.

“Why the fuck are you even here? I didn’t call you.”

“If you must know, I’m here because we had a deal. You kill off my brother and the rest of my family and I get their insurance policies. Simple.”

“Why you don’t kill them yourself then?”

“Why don’t you uphold your end of this little deal? You got this shit twisted.”

Jazz stood in front of the TV and I couldn’t help but stare daggers at her ass. I was tryna watch the news and she was blocking the damn TV.

“Look, I ain’t in the mood. I’m wounded as fuck and you able-bodied. If you get a damn deadline then do it yourself.”

“I don’t know why I even employed you. You been tryna kill Levi and Lyrik’s ass for damn near a year and ain’t got nowhere yet.”

“Says the bitch begging for my help. You could’ve killed whoever you wanted without me. Now, shut the fuck up and move to the side.”

Jazz sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes and strutted from in front of the TV. She was fine as hell, but her attitude made her annoying as hell. I continued to watch the news. I was their prime suspect and I was already wanted all over the state. I would have to lay low for a while before I made my move. With Jazz in my ear, I would have to make that move soon.
